The Year One Toy Museum

The children were inspired by their visit last week to ste up their very own toy museum in class, using some images from the toys at the School's Museum and some new ones from our History learning.

The children played group games where one person was the curator and had to answer questions as to how old a toy was using clues we could deduce, and they sorted out the toys into old and new considering the criteria for 'oldness:' physical appearance, use, ownership, design and inspiration.  We will be continuing this as the topic progresses.
