The circus comes to Reception!

This week, children have been inspired to create their own circus in response to their trip to the local circus with their family.  We have had fun practising our writing by making tickets and posters.  Children thought of what acts to perform - we had our own acrobats, dancers, clowns, and even Slinkyman!  They took turns to be the Ringmaster and introduce each act with expression, using an announcer's voice!  We had stage managers ensuring the stage was safe to perform on and children managing lights, creating spotlights using the torches.  We look forward to continuing our learning in a stimulating, creative environment and see what they children think of next....!
