It's been a busy and blustery week in Year 4! In English, we have been continuing our work on Greek myths and the children are now starting to plan their own. In maths, we have been looking at place value - the children enjoyed 'building' numbers earlier on in the week using Base 10 and place value counters, however the highlight of this week has to be with science where the children experimented making circuits! The pictures show the children experimenting with how they thought a simple electrical circuit would be made...in the end, we all made one big circuit which highlighted the fact that the circuit has to be connected all the way round in order to work. This was a fun activity and we are looking forward to doing more learning outdoors...whilst the weather lasts! Well done to all of Year 4!
