Ultimate frisbee in Year 3

At the beginning of term, Year 3 began to learn about Ultimate Frisbee. We found it quite hard to master at first - throws never went where we expected, we tried to avoid frisbees coming our way and as for intercepting - what was that?

We persevered, week after week, slowly improving and beginning to play games where the frisbee was actually thrown and caught and goals were scored.

Mrs Murray and Mrs Bradshaw are delighted to report that Year 3 are now fully fledged ultimate Frisbee-ers. Children have persevered to develop the necessary skills and then moved on to talking tactics, teamwork and the personal qualities needed in order to be a successful sportsperson.
