Unpacking The Creator

Today in RE we started our new topic The Creation with our question:  Who made the world?   The children explored some images and artefacts of the natural world and we discussed different theories for its creation - God and The Big Bang! What do these artefacts of creation tell us about the person who created them?

The children then unpacked the text in Genesis 1 using scatterball and oral retelling.  We discovered that not all details are the same in different versions of the story and that this may mean it has been written by different people.  The children created their own z-booklets about the Creation to support their learning next week....
