On Thursday, our Year 6 class enthusiastically joined in the commemoration of VE Day, marking 80 years since the end of the Second World War. We decorated our classroom with vibrant flags and created heartfelt prayers and reflective messages. It was a moving experience, as we remembered the brave souls who fought and sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

To finish the day on a high note, the entire school gathered on the field, proudly waving our flags while singing the national anthem. It was a wonderful way to honour the past and celebrate the freedom we cherish today!
