Visit to Knebworth House
On Tuesday year 6 visited Knebworth house for a historic workshop and great fun at the fort in the afternoon.
In the morning we had an excellent workshop about the Votes for Women campagin and the role of Lady Constance Lytton. We met people from History and found out their views, explored primary sources from history and debated the tactics of the suffragettes. We discovered we were excellent at marching and being very vocal protestors.
In the afternoon we had exclusive use of the Fort and the slides and had a really great time. We competed to see who could scream the loudest going down the drop slide! Thank you to Mrs Avent, Mr Parker and Mr Sarai for taking us!
