Self Portraits
On one of the children's transition visits with their parents, we asked them to create a self portrait using loose parts, to celebrate our individuality and uniqueness. They will be displayed all year as a reminder that it is each child along with his or her strengths, successes and accomplishments, which create the formation of a true classroom community of unique children who will learn to soar, succeed and shine together.

Information gathered from entry forms, home visits and transition days, allows us to set up an environment which encompasses the interests of the children. This makes them feel listened to, valued and comfortable in their new setting.
