What is geography?

Over the past few days, year 5 have been thinking about the important role of geographers in our world. 

In class we have written poems and created pieces of art work to represent our views and ideas. 

Later, we were lucky enough to be invited to Hitchin Girls' School to learn more about this important area. 

One of the most exciting tasks was to decide what a geographer should do in certain situations such as flooding and food shortages. 

We would like to give a bit thank you to Mr Sutton and the year 7 geography ambassadors for their kind support today.
