Who deserves the largest share of the profit?

In geography, we are learning about trade and how people earn money through trading. 

In the banana trade there are five main roles - the banana worker, the plantation owner, shipper, the importer and the supermarket buyer. We debated around who we felt deserved to make the largest profit. The children showed a great deal of empathy and understanding.

Finally we wrote persuasive letters to encourage laws to be changed so that a certain group had to receive a larger proportion of the profit.
