Who did we choose to be the greatest history maker?
Our long awaited decision has finally been made. Children carried out their final debate on who they believed to be the greatest history maker.
The majority of our class agreed that Florence Nightingale was the greatest history maker because of her implementation of clean standards and how this saved so many lives and this still has a huge impact on society today.
Children have really enjoyed learning about how significant people made changes in the past for the good of the future. Many feel that they would like to research even more history makers from the past to continue comparing the successful changes that they made and debating whether they would still leave Florence as the greatest.
