Wire Masks

During our art lessons, we have been learning about portraits. We looked at the work of the artist Alexander Calder, who created portraits from wire. 

We used wire to make portraits of people from the painting of the Family of Darius Before Alexander. 

We looked closely at how their expression showed their emotions. We expressed these emotions in line, colour and shape.
