World bee Day 2020

Hello Nursery! Did you know that tomorrow it will be World Bee Day?

On 20th March every year, bees are celebrated internationally to raise awareness of what they do for us all as pollinators* and to make sure that we continue to protect them. Some people even keep bees to ensure that they stay safe! Perhaps you might spot a bee or two tomorrow around the brightly coloured flowers of Hitchin? Ooh, or have a taste of some lovely local honey?

I hope that you are all well and enjoying the sunshine, just like the bees!

With my best wishes, Miss Farrant :)

*A 'pollinator' is an animal that causes plants to make fruits or seeds by moving pollen from one part of a flower to another part.
