World Book Day

The St Andrew's theme for this year's World Book Day was bedtime stories. Children (and staff) loved being able to come into school in their comfy pyjamas.  The day started with an assembly where children from each class shared their favourite books.  Year 6 then spent some quiet time reading with their Reception buddies.  They also enjoyed a book swap, made bookmarks and enjoyed listening to teachers' favourite bedtime stories.  What a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the joy of reading!
