World Book Day

The children in Year 4 have had a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day. To start the day, the children shared the books they had brought in with each other, and three children shared their books with the whole school during a special World Book Day assembly.

In our English lesson, the children loved completing our ‘hot seating’ activity, where they became a character from their book and answered questions while the class tried to identify which character they were.

All the children enjoyed listening to a teacher read one of their favourite ‘bedtime stories’. Finally, the children enjoyed creating a book token or writing a book review of their favourite books.
