World Book Day + Mothering Sunday

The children were incredibly busy last week. They worked hard to create prepare for the Mothering Sunday service and make their cards. The service went well with the children speaking clearly and giving heartfelt messages. 

World Book Day was obviously a highlight for many children. Costumes ranged from The Green Crayon to The Boy with the Striped Pyjamas.

In Maths, we begin looking at calculating area while, in English, we continued studying Macbeth. All this without a screen for a large part of the week. The children handled this really well and should be proud of their efforts.
