Written Multiplication

This week we have been learning how to carry out the process of written multiplication. 

We began by revising multiplying 3 digit numbers by single digits. 

We played a game of Dicey Operations, were we generated digits by rolling a dice. We then decide where in the calculation each digit should go so that our product was as close as possible to one thousand. 

No only did this help our calculation skills but it encouraged us to estimate the answers to questions.
