YEAR 6 ART EXHIBITION
The Big ART EXHIBITION was a very creative, and rewarding project for Year 6. The inspiration for our art work came from a set of 9 oil panels painted by Darvish Fakhr of an Indian dance called Akram Khan. Each pose represents different emotion.
We explored and practiced skills with line, tone and colour to express different emotions. This involved some sculpture work including paper, cardboard and wire sculpture. We then designed our art piece to represent emotions that were important to us during lockdown. Our final pieces of art work are all very different and we really enjoyed curating our exhibition and explaining and evaluating our pieces to each other.
