Year 6 - Week 2

The pace of learning picked up this week with children planning, drafting and re-drafting a newspaper report about the 'Miracle of Dunkirk.' In Maths, they continued to learn about numbers to 10,000,000.

The weather, thankfully, made it easier in PE with children improving their rugby skills. They continued to look at regions in the uk, learning the difference between a region and a county and learning to locate the counties in the East of England and the North West. 

In addition to their learning, the children began their leadership roles with sports ambassadors undertaking their training, house captains introducing themselves to each class and everyone doing a fantastic job helping their Reception buddy at lunchtimes.
