St Andrew’s School Association (SASA)
The school’s Parent Association plays a vital part in improving the quality of life in the school, organising fund raising and social events for parents, children and staff.
In 2018/19 SASA purchased an Outside Stage arena which the children requested costing £10k and refurbished our Pond area with a new pond, pump and stone paved area costing £10K. Year 5 aked to take this project forward in 2019/20 and are transforming it into a vibrant wildlife area.
SASA have set themselves a target of £35000 over the next 2 years to purchase 30 new Laptops, refurbish the hall which will include new lighting and flooring and install a water feature in the early years outside classroom.
Many companies offer employees the chance to boost their fundraising efforts by 'matching' the money they or their ‘PTA’ raises. This means that we could double the amount of cash we raise with very little effort. If your company runs such a scheme, please give us a shout it could make a huge difference to the funds we can raise for our school. Click here for List of companies.
Parents automatically become members of SASA when their children join the school and are welcome to join in all the events on offer. The team are always looking for volunteers to come to committee meetings or help at events and this gives you the opportunity to make new friends. If you want to join or contact us with questions or ideas, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
